Aberdeen-based James Aiken Engineering Solutions has unveiled a new senior management team as it looks to develop the company’s products and services.
Directors, George Paterson and Neil Jolly, will oversee the senior management team which consists of Pauline Milne (office manager), Bruce Finnie (fabrication manager), Kenny Mearns (engineering manager) and Kevin McLaughlan (site work and business development manager).
Bill Lumsden, previously managing director, retired last December having worked with the company for 35 years.
Director Neil Jolly commented: “Following Bill’s departure, the new team was a natural selection for us as we look to develop the products and services further. Our reputation has traditionally been built around our fabrication capabilities, but with strong engineering skills our offering is somewhat more diverse, catering for a wide range of clients and sectors.
“Business development was previously a shared responsibility across the senior managers but with Kevin now client facing in order to focus on this, exciting plans are afoot including improvements to premises and we hope to achieve our highest turnover to date this year of £2.8m.”
James Aiken Engineering Solutions has a 30 strong team who are each passionate about delivering metal fabrication and engineering that is fit for purpose – nearly a third of whom have worked there for the last 30 years.
Their workshop benefits from the most up-to-date CNC machinery, ensuring the best project management and customer service is possible. Current clients are across various sectors, including oil and gas, health board and construction.
