Ongoing training and development

James Aiken Engineering believes in the continuous growth and development of its team. We invest in regular training programmes to enhance the skills of our workforce and keep them up to date with the latest industry standards and practices. Our commitment to training ensures our team is always equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality assemblies and parts for our customers.

Our team of fabricators, sheet metal workers, engineering machinists, MIG and TIG welders are all highly trained in their roles and vested in the latest techniques and safety protocols. They will have undertaken various apprenticeships, vocational courses, and certifications to meet the stringent requirements demanded by our industry and our customers. On the job training is also part of our training regime.

Our MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welders undergo specialised training courses, provided by accredited institutions, and are required to submit to re-certification every 2-3 years. This ensures they remain compliant with the latest safety and quality standards.
